Eric Clapton has released a new song, “This Has Gotta Stop”, in which the guitar legend seems to express his frustrations with the authorities’ response to the coronavirus pandemic.
In recent months, the famous rocker has publicly opposed the restrictive measures introduced due to the coronavirus, and then he did the same for vaccination. Last year, he recorded the song “Stand and Deliver” with Van Morrison, one of the many songs that the famous English rocker, singer-songwriter wrote against Lockdown.
Clapton’s new song was accompanied by an animated video, which has been viewed more than 850,000 times since Friday and counting, and which shows people hypnotized by the media and people protesting with inscriptions like Freedom.
“This has gotta stop, Enough is enough, I can’t take this BS any longer” the 76-year-old musician sings in the chorus of the new song.
