Retro shooter Agent 64 will sneak in next month

The indie game Agent 64: Spies Never Die has confirmed its release at the beginning of the eighth month, exclusively on Steam.

We recently had a modern James Bond game, and soon there will be one inspired by the old Bond.

Agent 64: Spies Never Die is a first-person shooter inspired by the former GoldenEye 007 from the Nintendo 64, and along with retro graphics, it also brings that type of shooting where precise aiming is a secondary skill.

The story will follow the secret agent John Walter, a guy who has to save the world from the terrorist Dominic Pulp. He will do this through 14 different missions in nightclubs, museums, catacombs and similar locations. The campaign will be playable independently or cooperatively with up to four players in split screen.

The inspiration for shooters from the 90s will not stop only at the graphics and mechanics, because we will also see Paradox Mode with big heads, slow bullets and other 70-odd gameplay modifiers. Finally, it will have an Arena mode for local or online multiplayer in Deathmatch, CTF and Zone modes.

Agent 64: Spies Never Die will be available on Steam from 11. 8. of this year.
