In July 2019, Audi introduced the A1 Citycarver, a new member of the Allroad family of vehicles designed for outdoor adventures. These spy shots testify that Audi is preparing another A model with increased ground clearance.
The working or future official name of this version of the A3 is not known, and it is expected that the new variant in the catalog will be placed between the A3 hatchback and Q3. It is difficult to say what is hidden under the camouflage, but you can sense the plastic protective elements around the fenders and on the front bumper.

The rear end is the same as the standard A3. Given the charging port on the front left fender, the test model certainly uses a plug-in hybrid drive. There are also bark rails that are not up to standard A3 equipment, so even that indicates off-road potential.
The A1 Citycarver has a suspension that lifts the car by 35mm, so a similar treatment can be expected for this A3, potentially with the addition of all-wheel drive.

2023 Audi A3 Allroad Hatchback price
