New information about Nothing’s next phone continues to trickle in, but so far it doesn’t bring much to get excited about. According to reports published on social networks, the Nothing Phone 4a Pro has appeared in the European EPREL database, which is used for energy certification of devices, which usually means that a launch is already in the works.
According to the available data from the certification, the Nothing Phone 4a Pro (code A069P) could get a battery with a capacity of 5,080 mAh. That’s only a token increase compared to the Phone 3a Pro and the base 3a model, which already have a 5,000 mAh battery. In other words, the difference between the two generations would be only 80 mAh.

The listing also mentions support for 50W wired charging, as well as IP65 certification for dust and water resistance, which would be a slight improvement over the IP64 protection of the current 3a series. The energy documentation gives the phone a grade of “C” for drop resistance and “C” for repairs, indicating average results in those segments.
The same source states that the device has also passed BIS certification in India, which further confirms that the global launch is getting closer.
At the same time, the first traces of the basic Nothing Phone 4a model appeared in other certification bases, without specific technical details. If the company sticks to the current schedule, the new 4a series could be presented around March 2026, reports Android Central.
The price is currently unknown, but Nothing previously hinted at possible price increases, justifying them with the rise in prices of DRAM and NAND memory. If this comes true, the Phone 4a Pro could offer only minimal technical improvements at a potentially higher price, which could disappoint some of the audience.
