Karlovac County is from March 27 to 29 repositions itself as the center of motor sports in Croatia and opens the road racing season. The fifth edition of the Quattro River Rally has been described as the most technically demanding to date, with significant organizational advances. According to the announcements of the organizers, the event will bring together numerous domestic and foreign crews, which confirms the race’s status as a relevant international sports event.
New routes and challenges
This year’s program brings completely new sections and locations that will test the skills of the drivers. Željko Magličićpresident of the Car and Karting Association of Karlovac County, pointed out that the new routes give additional dynamics to the competition, emphasizing the great interest of foreign competitors as a key confirmation of the quality and growth of the race itself.
The official part of the program begins on Friday with the opening of the service park at ŠRC Korana, where in addition to technical preparations, entertainment will be organized for visitors. Saturday is reserved for the peak of excitement, which begins with the ceremonial start at 2:01 p.m. A special attraction this year is the night speed test, designed to raise the level of adrenaline and provide a unique visual experience for spectators along the track.

The Sunday schedule is focused on the final calculations on the demanding sections of county roads. The competition will culminate with a ceremonial finish scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at the Nikola Tesla Experience Center in Karlovac, the location chosen this year for the ceremonial start of the race, which connects modern technology and the historical context of the city.
A combination of sport and heritage
In addition to the sporting aspect, the Quattro River Rally this year emphasizes the tourism potential of the region even more strongly. The race route is strategically designed so that, in addition to the recognizable four rivers of Karlovac, it also connects four old towns. In this way, the event outgrows the framework of a classic sports competition and becomes a platform for the promotion of the natural and cultural heritage of Karlovac County.
