The Batman 2022 Cast, Plot, Release Date

The upcoming sequel to the Batman movie franchise, starring Robert Pattinson, is currently one of the most anticipated films, but also the most speculated films. In a trailer, through a couple of striking scenes, we could see how Pattinson coped in the role of the Dark Knight, but also what fans can expect in the new sequel.

The main role is played by the British Robert Pattison. This time, the role of the main villain in the film was given to Colin Farrell, whom no one recognized.

The Batman 2022 Movie Plot

The production of the film was, admittedly, closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the footage released by director Matt Reeves for DC’s FanDome virtual convention is a very good insight into what fans of the masked superhero can expect. As always in Gotham City, crime is raging through the city, and members of a vicious force are trying to grab Batman. The story takes place about two years after Bruce Wayne began his career as Batman, at a time when he is still only a masked protector of citizens. Reeves said Batman is still not the real Batman, but there are people who “fear him, pretty much.”

The Batman 2022 Cast

In the new Batman movie, there are some new characters, including Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon and Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman. Andy Serkis can also be heard as Alfred. Matt Reeves also revealed that many of the characters are just becoming what they are known for, so Selina Kyle, for example, is not yet a Catwoman. Both Riddler and Penguin are just at the beginning of their criminal careers.

From year to year, we are witnessing incredible transformations of famous actors in movies and series. With the help of technology and better make-up tricks, but also the genius and persistence of the actors, their characters on the screen are completely unrecognizable. One of the last such transformations took place in the movie Batman.

In the role of the villain Penguin aka Oswald Cobblepot, we’ll watch Colin Farrell.

When the trailer for the new film Farrell was released, no one recognized it. The great actor managed to completely transform into a fictional character of the villain who also played Danny Devito.

Devito said he was excited to see Farrell in this role.

The movie concentrates more on Bruce Wayne and less on Batman. It is so certain that the hitherto lesser-known playboy side of Bruce Wayne will be more pronounced with Pattinson than was the case with Christian Bale, Michael Keaton, and Ben Affleck. Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne is less mysterious and more barbaric, which will surely be quite intriguing to fans.

“Without looking for the origin of the story about him, it’s something that touches even more of the roots themselves,” Reeves revealed.
