Another wearable device came out of the house Xiaomi, this time in the form of Redmi Smart Band Pro a product similar to Huawei Watch Fit and Samsung Galaxy Fit wearables. It can be debated whether this latest device offers enough differences between itself and the still recent Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6 to fully guarantee its existence, although it could target regional markets where the Mi Smart Band 6 is not directly available. The main visual difference between the Redmi Smart Band Pro and its Mi counterpart is the shape of the screen – the Redmi gadget has a more design like a smartwatch with a case that exceeds the width of the belt and is square in shape.
Redmi Smart Band Pro Specifications
Apart from not changing the design too much, the Redmi Smart Band Pro is full of useful functions, which would be expected from such an accessory. Obviously, 110+ exercise modes are available to the user, including popular activities such as running, cycling, swimming and yoga. Redmi Smart Band Pro can detect when training has started and measure user effort. The tracker is rated for a 50-meter water resistance of 5 ATM and can last up to 14 days of normal use or 20 days in energy saving mode after being fully charged via a magnetic charger.
In terms of health characteristics, Redmi Smart Band Pro, which supports applications such as Strava and Apple Health, can measure stress levels and offer a function of women’s health. Sleep quality monitoring is built-in as well as a practically necessary 24/7 heart rate monitor. The level of oxygen in the blood can be checked using an SpO2 sensor, which can be set to be done automatically while the user is sleeping.
Redmi Smart Band Pro Price
Although the price is not currently listed, it has been speculated that the Xiaomi Redmi Smart Band Pro could cost around 59 euros or $68 globally.
Redmi Smart Band Pro is launched alongside the Redmi Note 11 series on October 28.
