Assassin’s Creed Hexe has lost another director


Two months after creative director Clint Hocking left the development of Assassin’s Creed Hexa, now lead director Benoit Richer has done the same.

Assassin’s Creed Hexe is in trouble again.

Just two months after the game lost its creative director, Clint Hocking, now comes the news that i the main director game quit. More precisely, a Ubisoft veteran Benoit Richer he decided to leave the company and found his own indie studio.

For now, it is not yet known who will replace Richer as the next director of the new game from the Assassin’s Creed series.

Hexe does not yet have a scheduled release date. The game was formally announced in 2022, but nothing has been heard about it since then except for a few rumors. Ubisoft said that this should be a different kind of Assassin’s Creed series – “a unique, darker story-driven AC at a pivotal moment in humanity”.
