Believe it or not, he made Game Pass cheaper, but with one compromise

Xbox decided to reduce the price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscriptions, but also to remove Call of Duty from the offer.

Something happened that normally never happens. Some gaming subscriptions have become cheaper.

Microsoft concluded that last year’s Game Pass price increase of 50% was still too much and decided retroactively drop prices starting today.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will cost 27 euros per month instead of the previous one 21 euros per month. PC Game Pass has also become cheaper – from the previous 15 euros to 13 euros.

Now, the cheapness comes with one compromise – yes new Call of Duty games will no longer be available on Game Pass immediately upon release. Xbox says that Call of Duty will be added to the Game Pass catalog one year after launch.

“There is no one-size-fits-all model, and this change is our response to the feedback we’ve received so far. We’ll continue to listen and learn.” – they said from Microsoft.
