The Franco-Croatian sports hypercar manufacturer Bugatti and the British company Factor Bikes have announced the start of a collaboration, the first result of which is the Bugatti Factor ONE, a high-performance bike. It represents a combination of automotive precision and high-end cycling, and it is produced by Factor Bikes, known for producing the fastest racing models. But in this project, he rejected the usual regulatory restrictions in order to achieve maximum aerodynamic efficiency.
Engineering precision
The Factor ONE model is based on the philosophy of measurable advantage, which means that every technical element on the bike must directly contribute to speed or stability. The frame features wider fork spacing and optimized profiles to reduce air resistance, achieving performance that exceeds standard racing frames.
The visual identity of the bike is deeply rooted in the Bugatti tradition. The frame is decorated with distinctive two-tone graphics and the legendary “Bugatti Blue” color, which historically symbolized France in international racing in the 1920s. The “Dancing Elephant” emblem, the work of the artist, is highlighted on the front Rembrandt’s Bugattithe brother of the company’s founder Hectorea. This symbol serves as a tribute to the artistic heritage of the brand, while at the same time emphasizing the exclusivity of the product, which is limited to only 250 copies.
Advanced components and materials
In addition to aesthetics, engineering solutions on the front fork further improve handling at high speeds. The goal of the design was to ensure front end stability while at the same time profiling airflow around the leading edge of the bike. This approach is taken directly from the experience of developing hypercars such as the Veyron and Chiron, where marginal gains in aerodynamics make a key difference in performance.
The technical specifications also include specially developed components from the world’s leading suppliers. It is equipped with a Selle Italia seat, CARBON-TI rotors and sprockets, and Continental tires, and all components are adapted exclusively for this model. The set of Black Inc Bugatti Hyper 62 wheels is particularly noteworthy, the weight of which for a pair is only 1,298 grams. The rim profile height of 62 mm is optimized to maintain speed with high stability in side wind gusts.
The wheels use innovative technologies such as boomerang spokes and precisely designed inner hubs, which ensure maximum power transmission under load. The carbon structure of the rims has been carefully tuned to provide the stiffness needed for racing, but also a sufficient level of comfort for the driver. With these specifications, the Bugatti Factor ONE confirms the status of a machine that is as visually impressive as it is technically sophisticated – and so is its price. In the US it can be obtained for 23,599 dollars. Therefore, it is clear that it is intended for a narrow circle of enthusiasts, collectors or athletes who strive for unique solutions.
