The Rebellion development team has unveiled their next game. And this is a shooter – but on a completely new, alien terrain.
After last year’s Atomfall, British studio Rebellion Developments continues to explore new ideas. They just announced their next game, called Alien Deathstormwhich combines first-person shooter and alien horror.
The game begins with a typical plot: we are sent to check why a colony on a foreign planet has mysteriously fallen silent. I mean, we all know why, but not our engineer who comes face to face with a menacing alien species there.
As if that was not enough in itself, he is also a danger on a foreign planet stormy storm – Deathstorm, in the middle of which we will have to seek shelter.
Alien Deathstorm is billed as an action-horror that should deliver a good balance of thrilling shoot-’em-up and tense survival.
The game is announced for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. It will appear on sale sometime during 2027., and will be available with a Game Pass subscription.
