We found out how much the games from MGS Master Collection 2 will weigh, in which resolutions they will be played and with what framerate.
We’re getting close to going out Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 which includes MGS 4: Guns of the Patriots and MGS: Peace Walker. On this occasion, Konami decided to reveal the technical specifications of the “remaster” for individual platforms.
The news is mostly good: games will run at 60 fps on all platforms except the first Nintendo Switch. Also, gaming in 4K resolution will be supported on all platforms except Nintendo Switch consoles.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots:
- PC version: will weigh 26 GB, resolution up to 4K, framerate 60 fps
- PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro: will weigh 25 GB, resolution up to 4K, framerate 60 fps
- Xbox Series X: will weigh 26 GB, resolution up to 4K, framerate 60 fps
- Xbox Series S: will weigh 20 GB, resolution up to 1440p, framerate 60 fps
- Nintendo Switch 2: will weigh 36 GB, resolution up to 1440p in TV mode or 1080p in handheld mode, framerate 60 fps
- Nintendo Switch 1: will weigh 20 GB, resolution up to 1080p in TV mode or 720p in handheld mode, framerate 30 fps

- PC version: will weigh 23 GB, resolution up to 4K, framerate 60 fps
- PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro: will weigh 17 GB, resolution up to 4K, framerate 60 fps
