CD Projekt teamed up with Devolver Digital and they announced a new Witcher game that is genre-wise far from the action RPG of the main Witcher series.
The Witcher series has had several card spin-off titles so far (Gwent, Thronebreaker), and CD Projekt decided how to mutate in another world. A narrative game is coming Reigns: The Witcher in which we experience Geralt’s adventures through the verses of his friend and poet Dandelion.
It will be a very simple game because it is primarily made for mobile phones (although there will be a PC version as well). Decisions in the story will be made with binary choices (left or right), based on which the story will branch. There will also be some mini-games, all for the purpose of singing Geralt’s adventures.
The whole thing will be presented as an animated film, but thematically faithful to the Witcher atmosphere, at least in terms of blood and violence – we probably won’t see any tits.
Reigns: The Witcher stiže 25. 2. and will be sold for six euros.
