Android 13 brings file transfer by touch and makes it easy to scan QR codes

It’s been a few months since Google published Android 12, and a stable version Android 12L yet to be published. Now the details of Fr. Android 13 (internally codenamed “Tiramisu”). It is mentioned that it brings a “touch for transfer” function for media playback and facilitates the scanning of QR codes.

In the demo mock-up of the Google user interface that is published by Android Police, the “Media TTT” system application mentions “touch for transfer”. The screenshot shows “Zoom in to play on DEMO” and “Play on DEMO” with the Cancel button.

This could help transfer media between your phone and other devices, such as between iPhone and HomePod.

Android 13 is also expected to bring improved QR code scanning. Screenshot models display “Show QR Scanner” in the lock screen section of the settings. This will probably allow users to access the QR scanner from the lock screen instead of launching the camera app.
