Renault restarts the Green Heart. Along with discounts on new vehicles, there is also reforestation in Croatia

Those who are a little older will remember how more than two decades ago, Renault made a breakthrough on the Croatian car market that gave car sales a wider social and ecological meaning. Namely, in the early 2000s, Renault’s Green Heart campaign was launched – an initiative that many still remember today. Then, along with the sale of each new vehicle, Renault bought old car wrecks and planted a tree for each one. With this, he started the renovation of the previously outdated vehicle fleet in Croatia, removed a large number of unusable vehicles from our roads, and at the same time contributed to the greening of the country through the planting of new forests.

Today, Renault is reviving the Green Heart of Renault. He modernized the initiative, adapted it to today’s needs of customers and the market, but with the same idea – to offer customers attractive benefits, reward them for their trust and at the same time contribute to environmental protection through concrete socially responsible activities.

Accordingly, a sales campaign has started, which lasts until May 31. At Renault, they have prepared significant discounts on all passenger vehicles for private customers and companies. Discounts for immediately available vehicles range from 1,000 to 1,400 euros for the new Clio, up to 2,800 euros for the Captur, up to 3,300 euros for the Austral, while discounts for the most equipped Rafale go over 5,000 euros. An additional reason to buy a vehicle in that period is the prize draw. Namely, every natural person who buys a personal vehicle during the campaign can participate in the draw for a green electric Twingo.

As they say in some advertisements – but that’s not all! By buying a Renault, customers also participate in the greening of Croatia. For every car sold with a gasoline engine, Renault will plant three trees, and for every full hybrid model two trees, thereby contributing to the neutralization of the carbon footprint of the vehicles sold. The planting will be carried out as part of the reforestation project CO2MPENSATING BY PLANTING, which is being carried out by the HEARTH agency, the Association of Scouts of Croatia and Croatian Forests. The new forest will be located near the village of Rečica, not far from Karlovac, and the exact location is available on the website of the project and the action itself.

A specially designed website has been prepared for this campaign, which provides all the information about discounts by model, the rules of the prize game and the virtual forest. In it, every customer can symbolically ‘plant’ their own trees and mark them with a personalized message, which allows them to feel in a simple and emotional way the real contribution they made to the greening of Croatia by purchasing a vehicle.
