The Samsung Galaxy S26 series leads a new generation of phones

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series has successfully passed FCC certification in the US, which includes the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra models. The versions intended for the American market use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 processor and support satellite communication, which confirms Samsung’s focus on advanced hardware and communication capabilities.

It is particularly interesting that the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ will be available in two hardware variants. While most markets will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5, the models destined for South Korea will be equipped with the Samsung Exynos 2600 processor, the world’s first commercial mobile processor manufactured in the 2 nm manufacturing process.

Dual processor strategy and strengthening of the flagship offer

Exynos 2600 brings a ten-core design with one core with a maximum clock of 3.80GHz, three fast cores at 3.26GHz and six energy-efficient cores at 2.76GHz. According to available data, the chip achieves over 3,400 points in single-core and more than 11,000 points in multi-core tests, which places it at the very top of the Android range.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra remains the only model that globally uses an exclusive Qualcomm solution in the form of a special version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 for Galaxy. This processor operates at a maximum frequency of 4.74GHz, higher than the standard version, and additionally uses the improved third-generation TSMC N3P production process, which brings more stable performance and better energy efficiency.

For our market and those in the surrounding area, all three models are expected to use the Snapdragon platform, while users who want the Exynos 2600 will have to rely on the Korean market. According to current practice, the official premiere of the Galaxy S26 series is planned for March.
