Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 + tablet it was tested on Geekbench testing and the result looks good, although it may not be completely final yet.
Testing was done on the Samsung SM-X808U – decoding the model number suggests that this is a Tab S8 + with 5G for the U.S. It is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and used Android 12 (apparently not 12L, but that may be a wrong identification, according to the test).
The results shows 1,211 points on the single-core and 3,193 points on the multi-core. For comparison, the Galaxy S22 + with Exynos 2200 previously showed 1,073 points in one and 3,389 points in multi-core, writes Sam Mobile. Both chipsets are produced in the same process (Samsung 4 nm) and will have an almost identical CPU composition – one basic Cortex-X2, three Cortex-A710 and A510.
Note that the X2 in the Exynos test did not work at its peak speed, so these early comparisons are not particularly representative but merely informative. The 898 seems to be running at the expected clocks – 3.0 GHz for the main core, 2.5 GHz for the middle cores and 1.8 GHz for the small ones.

We’ll have to wait a little longer until reliable benchmarks emerge to compare the two new premium chips for Android (don’t forget Dimensity 2000), as well as talk about generational improvements over the Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100.
