A new ad-free and tracking-free mobile messaging app

Platforma X is preparing to launch a new standalone messaging app called XChat. The new application should appear on iPhone and iPad devices already in mid-April.

According to the portal 9to5Macthe app is already available for download via the App Store as a pre-order, with an announced release date of April 17.

What XChat brings

XChat is intended as a dedicated application for private communication within the X ecosystem. Its focus is on safety and simplicity. The description of the app states that it allows users to correspond with anyone on the platform in a “private chat space”.

Unlike the basic app, this one won’t show ads or use user tracking, while messages are protected by end-to-end encryption.
