Publishers iam8bit and Skybound Games together with the development team Coin Crew Games are preparing a new “escape room” game called Escape Academy.
As the title itself suggests, this puzzle game will be set in a school where students try to become the ultimate experts in escape room challenges. The game is coming out this year and will be available for PC, both PlayStation and Xbox consoles. There is no exact release date yet.
As for the game itself, it brings over 12 specifically designed rooms created by people who otherwise do real escape room challenges. A single player will be available in the game, as well as of course online multiplayer and cooperative local multiplayer. The game brings various characters, secrets, challenges, and interesting music. You can see part of the whole atmosphere in the first trailer:
