The spiritual successor of the Mass Effect games, the action RPG Exodus, got a short gameplay preview, and we’ll have to wait until the summer for a more detailed demonstration.
Exodus is one of the games that we do not expect this year because it will not be released until the beginning of 2027. However, the game is already in an advanced stage of development and the developers are ready to show pure gameplay. For now, IGN has pulled a two-minute demo that includes a bit of gunplay and a bit of exploration.
Just as it was to be expected, in its gameplay, Exodus is reminiscent of the Mass Effect games that are its model. The gameplay doesn’t seem particularly exciting or innovative, but on the other hand, it’s not like we have anything similar to Mass Effect available right now.
In any case, only a fraction of the gameplay has been shown for now, and an extended look at the game awaits us this summer.
