The first photo from the filming of the upcoming God of War series has been released, showing the famous scene of Atreus hunting a deer.
The actors for the TV series God of War have already been chosen for the most part and filming has started. As proof of this, Amazon has released the first photo of one of the game’s opening scenes – the one where Atreus goes through Kratos’ deer hunting training.
This is the first time we see it actors Ryan Hurst and Callum Vinson in their roles as Kratos and Atreus. For Kratos, we can say that he doesn’t really have the muscle mass from the games, while Atreus looks younger in this edition than in the game.
Filming is underway in Vancouver, Canada. They are ordered two seasons of the seriesand it is likely that each of them will deal with the story of one game. The first one should thus be related to the action of God of War from 2018 and follow Kratos and Atreus on their way to the highest peak, where they will pay tribute to their late wife / mother Faye. The second season could follow the events of 2022’s God of War Ragnarok, in which Kratos clashes with Thor and Odin.
