Another game from the Temtem series is coming, and another genre changer. Instead of turn-based combat, the new Temtem brings survival in the wild.
Temtem from 2022 was one of the first “impersonators” of Pokemon. While not nearly as successful as the Nintendo franchise, it was lucrative enough to be turned into a series. So just a few days ago we got the bullet hell game Temtem: Swarm, and now something completely new has been announced.
Temtem: Pioneers will be a survival game in a wilderness inhabited by temtems. Similar to Palworld, here we will build bases with the help of domesticated creatures, and they will also serve us to move around the map faster. However, we will not attack the themes themselves with weapons, but we will have them direct control over them during combat with other species.
Unlike the first game, which had turn-based combat, here the combat will be dynamic, without pausing. Moreover, we will have massive battles with many different themes because the game will also support cooperative play with other players. Developers promise more than 200 different types of themes (in the first game there were about 165 of them).
Temtem: Pioneers is in development for PC, you can secure an early copy of the game on Kickstarter for 40 euros. The release of the alpha version is planned at the end of 2028 year, so we will have to wait for Temtem: Pioneers.
