Amazon revealed that American actor Ryan Hurst will play the god of war, the famous Kratos, in the upcoming TV adaptation of the God of War games.

Amazon MGM Studios announced that the muscular god of war in the upcoming God of War TV series will be an American actor Ryan Hurst. The person in question is known for his roles in the series Sons of Anarchy, The Walking Dead and Remember the Titans.
It is interesting that Hurst was already associated with the God of War series because he starred in the last game (Ragnarok), where he had a notable role as Thor, the god of thunder.
As previously announced, the God of War series will follow the plot of Kratos’ Nordic chapter. In the first season, we will see the action of the 2018 God of War game, where Kratos and his son Atreus travel to the highest peak to say goodbye to the deceased Faye, Kratos’ partner and Atreus’ mother.
In addition to revealing the main actor, it has been confirmed that the opening two episodes of the God of War series will be directed by Frederick EO Toye, who worked on the Shogun, The Boys and Fallout series. The director of the God of War game itself, Cory Barlog, will participate in the production of the series.
