The Huawei P50 series will finally see the day of light, the Chinese company has officially confirmed the launch date. The event will take place on July 29, where we will see the beginning of a new era of mobile photography, according to Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei.
So far, there has been only a rumor about the release date, but thanks to the company’s official Weibo page, we know that this announcement is gonna give us confirmation of the release date of the new model which is gonna be sometime in March 2022. The Huawei P50 is reported to arrive with an LTE version of the Snapdragon 888 chipset, but we haven’t heard anything about the Pro or a possible Pro + device.
We expect it to appear with the Kirin 9000 chipset and eventually switch to the SD888 when the problem in chip production is resolved.
Huawei P50 Price
As of this writing, the price for Huawei P50 is still unknown but is expected to be around 1000 USD, the price for the Huawei P50 Pro and Huawei P50 Pro Plus is expected to be more expensive.

Although specifications are still scarce at the moment, we are confident that the P50 series will arrive with HarmonyOS 2.0. The list revealed that the phone will ship with a 66W fast charge, while rumors indicated a Sony 1-inch camera sensor, as well as a 1 / 1.18 “ultra-wide lens” sensor.

Huawei P50 Release Date
Huawei has already announced a global presentation, which will take place on October 21 in Vienna, but the company has not announced which devices it will present. The teaser for the event points to the P50 Pro, but a new report raises the question of whether this could still be a model from the upcoming Huawei Mate series, due to a slightly different bulge for the cameras on the back.
