New information about the Motorola Razr 2026 phone reveals extremely ambitious RAM configurations that could significantly surpass the previous generation. Motorola’s line of flip phones is already considered one of the best in the so-called flip device segment, so serious progress is expected from the new generation.
According to information from the Chinese certification, Moto Razr 2026 could be available in several variants of working memory: 8 GB, 12 GB, 16 GB and even 18 GB of RAM. Such a configuration represents a significant leap compared to the previous model, which offered a maximum of 12GB of RAM.

Large amounts of working memory are especially interesting at a time when RAM memory prices are rising due to the increasing demands of AI functions in modern devices. Despite this, Motorola apparently plans to significantly increase the memory capacity in the new model.

Among them, there is a version of the phone with as much as 1 TB of space for data storage, an improved secondary camera of 50 megapixels, as well as a new eight-core processor with a working clock of up to 2.75 GHz.
The name of the processor has not been confirmed yet, but it is assumed that it could belong to the new generation of chips from the MediaTek Dimensity series.
However, there is a possibility that the most powerful configurations will not be available in all markets. Last year’s Razr model, for example, was available outside the US with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, while the US version was limited to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Therefore, it is not certain whether the 16GB or 18GB RAM models will be available in the US market. However, it is expected that the new generation of Razr phones will continue to strengthen its position among the best flip devices on the market, reports Android Police.
