New Twitter Articles feature can allow you to write long posts

The short form is the soul Twitter, and this is made possible by the well-known limitation of the platform’s character. But from time to time, users feel that limiting the number of characters is a nuisance, preventing them from creating content of a longer format. Although Twitter has tried to solve this problem with strings, it seems that the company could soon introduce a better way to share long posts.

Twitter is working on a new feature called Twitter Articles. Not much is known about this feature at this time, but it looks like users will be able to write full articles on without worrying about the 280-character limit. In the screenshot shared by leakster @Manchun, it seems that Twitter articles may get their own dedicated card or section, similar to the Spaces and Explore card, but at this point it is too early to talk about it with any confidence. It will be interesting to see if Twitter articles will have their own character or word restrictions.

The “Articles” feature is still under development and has not yet been introduced to users. Twitter has also not officially commented on this feature. It is also quite possible to give up this function and never see the light of day.

Twitter has been testing a bunch of new features lately. In a recent look at the code of the Twitter application, evidence of a new feature called Flock was noticed. Twitter Flock will allow users to limit the visibility of their tweets to a small group of people, similar to Instagram’s Close Friends feature. The service is also testing the new Search bar on the Home tab and “Quote tweet with reaction” videos on iOS, reports XDA-Developers.
