Adequately tailored Porsche Taycan Turbo S will have its first appearance in the Formula E championship in the first race to be held on January 28 in Saudi Arabia.

The range of safety cars in the eighth season of the electric-only car has been expanded with Porsche’s electrically powered Taycan Turbo S model, which will premiere ahead of Formula E in the first of 16 races on this year’s World Championship calendar.
Porsche’s model as a safety car is equipped with adequate signal lights and race control systems, and among the more interesting details of Taycan’s “Safety Car” are body colors that represent the colors of all 11 teams in this year’s Formula E season.
The Taycan Turbo S will join BMW’s existing electric-powered safety cars (i8 Coupé and Roadster) and Mini, and the 761hp and 1,050 Nm of torque produced by its two electric motors is more than enough to keep pace with second-generation electric Formulas that are slightly faster than Porsche’s first electric-only model.
