The action game Tides of Annihilation had to change its main actress


Voice actress Jennifer English is temporarily retiring from acting and will not star in the action adventure Tides of Annihilation.

Yesterday we received the news that the actor in the God of War series will be replaced due to an injury on the set, and now comes the news that there has been a replacement for the role of the protagonist in the game Tides of Annihilation.

The development team of Eclipse Glow Games has informed the players how it is voice actress Jennifer English stepped down from the lead role of Gwendolyn and gave it to another actress. English gave up her acting engagement for health reasons, according to the studio. However, she remained attached to the project and will provide advice to the new actress.

That actress has already been cast, but hasn’t been revealed yet. Her engagement will be confirmed next month at Gamescom, where Tides of Annihilation will be playable.

Jennifer English is otherwise a prominent acting name in the gaming world. In recent years, she has collected numerous awards based on her roles in the hit games Baldur’s Gate 3, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Elden Ring. Admittedly, she played supporting roles there, and Tides of Annihilation was supposed to be the first title in which she would have a leading role.

Tides of Annihilation comes to us from China sponsored by Tencent. It is an action adventure that will send us into battle against Arthur’s Knights of the Round Table in a twisted version of modern London.
