One truck driver in the US has taken the concept of “gaming on the go” to a whole new level by installing a full professional racing simulator in the passenger seat, a configuration based on high-end PC hardware, including NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 and Intel Core i9-14900.
During a traffic stoppage caused by a traffic accident, the driver used the time to start Assetto Corsa Competizione and practically “move” from the highway to the racetrack. The entire configuration is estimated at around $6,000.

What makes this setup special is not just the computer, but the complete professional equipment. The system includes hydraulic pedals, a steering wheel base with Force Feedback of 18 Nm, a GT steering wheel and additional controllers, including even a stick for flight simulation. There is also a wide monitor for maximum experience, as well as a built-in vibration system in the seat that simulates the feeling of driving.
Thanks to the powerful hardware, this configuration runs the most demanding simulations, not only racing but also flight, without any problems. This allows the driver to have a completely different type of entertainment during long breaks or stoppages, far beyond the classic viewing of content on the phone.
