Company Sony is still producing flagship phones and continues to compete with the world’s largest mobile phone manufacturers. But it works in a slightly different way, with a greater focus on cameras, with a different screen range, and with some additional software features that may be of interest to a particular circle of users.
Sony Xperia 1 IV specs
For example, last fall we had a chance to see the SonyXperia Pro-I, with a 4K OLED screen and 120Hz refresh rate and a 21: 9 screen range, but also with a one-inch main camera sensor. Like we said, interesting. Therefore, it is interesting to see what the new phone of this manufacturer will bring – Xperia 1 IV.
For now, we have specific information related to its design. Judging by the latest 3D renders that have appeared on LetsGoDigital, the new mobile phone is almost identical to the Xperia 1 III phone it should replace. That means it has a minimalist design with flat and rounded edges, glass on the front and back of the phone, and is a bit thicker than the competition.
Also, this phone has an almost identical shape of the camera system on the left side of the back of the device. This system has 3 sensors, which will most likely be primary, wide-angle, and one with periscope zoom. In the end, it looks like the OLED screen will be identical, with the same aspect ratio of the 21: 9 screen, 6.5 inches in size, 120Hz refresh rate and 4K resolution. The front camera is hidden in the top line above the screen, so again without more modern punch hole solutions.
In terms of performance, the phone should arrive with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage space, with the possibility of expanding with an SD card. This phone should go on sale in April. We don’t know if it will be successful on the market, but the allegations leave little room for optimism with identical or very similar specifications as last year’s model.
