The original Rayman game from 1995 is now available in digital edition for PC, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch platforms.
Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition as of yesterday it can be purchased digitally for PC, PS5, XS and NS platforms. A physical copy of the game for PS5 and NS will be available from 6/26 of this year.
Although this celebratory edition is not officially called a remaster, technically it has some improvements like “rewinding” the game, multiple shooting positions, additional accessibility options, etc.
Granted, graphically it is an identical game to the one from 30 years ago. Only the sound has been improved and the soundtrack has received some changes.
The package, which costs 20 euros, contains five different versions of Rayman: for MS-DOS, PlayStation, Atari Jaguar, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance. 120 additional fan-made levels have also been added, and a prototype Super Nintendo version is also available.
In addition, it is possible to watch an exclusive 50-minute documentary, in which the creators of Rayman discuss the origin of the series.
