Ubisoft canceled Prince of Persia remake and five other games, postponed the release of seven games


Ubisoft has revealed its plans for the future, and they include cuts, savings, cancellations, closures and delays. The late Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake.

For the future, Ubisoft promises to focus on two types of games: open world games and live service titles. The company will function through five “creative houses” in which studios will be distributed around the world. The structure will be as follows:

  • Vantage Studios – will work on Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry and Rainbow Six games
  • Creative House 2 – will be in charge of Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell and The Division games
