iPhone 18 Pro premieres iOS 27 with two major improvements

According to the established rhythm, Apple will present the new iOS 27 at the WWDC conference in the middle of 2026, while a new generation of iPhone devices with a pre-installed system will follow in the fall.

According to information provided by Mark Gurman, this year’s WWDC could be less spectacular than previous years, with an emphasis on improvements in the basic architecture of the system and deeper optimization of existing functions.

New Siri and focus on system stability

The biggest novelty in iOS 27 will be a thorough improvement of Siri. Apple is preparing a completely new chatbot interface for the voice assistant, with significantly more advanced communication logic and better context understanding capabilities. Siri is expected to get significantly more natural dialogue and better management of complex tasks.

Another key segment is related to performance optimization and debugging. iOS 27 should bring additional improvements to system fluidity, faster animations, and more stable application performance. Visual changes will be present, but without a radical design change.

As an introduction to the big update, Apple will previously release the iOS 26.4 beta version at the end of February, in which part of the new Siri functions will be available to developers. A complete chatbot transformation, however, is expected only in iOS 27.

According to current practice, WWDC 2026 will be announced at the end of March and held at the beginning of June. After the presentation, a test version will be available to developers immediately, while the final release will arrive in the fall together with the iPhone 18 Pro models, which will be the first to receive iOS 27 practically out of the box.
