The “Mission: Impossible 7” and “Mission: Impossible 8” installments movie franchise with Tom Cruise in the lead role have been postponed to 2023 and 2024, due to the Covid 19 pandemic, producers Paramount Pictures and Skydance announced.
“Mission: Impossible 7” was scheduled to hit theaters in September 2022, and “Mission: Impossible 8” in July 2023.
Mission Impossible 8 release date
The new dates are set for the movie premiere “Mission: Impossible 7” on July 14, 2023, and June 28, 2024, for the “Mission: Impossible 8” (United States).
“After careful consideration, Paramount Pictures and Skydance have decided to postpone release dates due to delays caused by the pandemic,” the company said in a statement.
