In the “Believe It Or Not” category of news today, we have Razer’s latest wet dream – an AI assistant in a tube. It can be an anime girl with cat ears or Lee Sang-hyeok, if you prefer.
I guess the company Razer is a champion in unnecessary innovation and promising things that never come to life. Every year at the CES fair they present some silly experiments, and they did not disappoint even at the very beginning of 2026 by presenting Project AVA.
It is a kind of tube in which it is located 5.5 inch 3D hologram. The hologram can take on different appearances to represent an AI assistant with the ability to listen to the user and recognize the same through the camera. The AI assistant is designed to “simplify life”, and can organize schedules and cheer players on while playing.
Razer unveiled five different skins for the AI assistant, from the floating Razer logo, to anime avatars of Kira and Zane, to lifelike AI copies of Faker and an Asian woman they call Sao. The appearance of the characters can be changed, and before you ask – the answer is probably no – you can’t strip them naked…
Admittedly, Project AVA The xAI-jev Grok Grokand he used to go wild lately and generate naked pictures of people… You never know with Grok!
As with all of Razer’s experiments, there’s a chance that the AI ”tube girl AI” may never actually come to life as a concrete product. However, for now the plan is that this will be launched in second half of 2026if there is no AI apocalypse in the meantime.
