EA Sports FC will no longer be just a football game. We will also play football and basketball, among other things. Here’s what’s promised for this year’s edition of FC.
EA Sports FC 27 is arriving 25. 9. on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series and Nintendo Switch 1 and 2. We already knew that last week, and here’s a summary of the specific things that were announced:
- The Grounds will be a central part of the game for the Clubs mode, where players will be able to freely visit street courts, shops and other locations; participate in different mini-games and solve different challenges
- among the mini-games in The Grounds is playing foot-basketball
- The Grounds can be explored independently or in the company of other players, and mentors will be represented by real football players
- The Grounds will only be available in the PC, PS5, XS and NS2 versions
- in the gameplay we will see more attempts to avoid the hinterland
- teammates will also have more coordinated actions, e.g. they will continue to run into the area even after two played passes from other soccer players
- we will also see faster additions to the first
- corners will now have two execution phases – first we control the player taking the corner and then the player fighting to get to the ball
- in Career mode, a deepened and updated transfer agreement system is waiting for us, and a system of dynamically varying the OVR rating depending on the form of the football player has also been introduced
- Ultimate Team mode will get a gallery where we can view our collection of cards
