The head of a company with an AI girl in the tube: “Gamers will love AI if they get better games”

The president of Razer stated that the faster development of better quality games should change the minds of gamers who do not support AI technology.

The company Razer is at the recently held fair consumer of corporate electronics performed with the slogan “AI is the future of gaming” and announced an AI assistant for gamers, in the form of a 3D hologram in a tube. The product was mostly ridiculed by the audience, and it was hypocritical of Razer to produce such technology, which consequently makes it difficult for people to engage in gaming.

We know that memory shortages and price increases were created in order to satisfy the insatiable needs of AI centers, and therefore it is bizarre that Razer with an AI product addresses gamers who loudly and clearly express their dissatisfaction with AI technology.

As Razer boasts that gamers are their main audience and that they listen to their needs, the president of the company Boin-Tana he was asked how he comments on the difference of opinion with gamers, that is, his own audience, regarding the application of AI technology.

Lian-Tan offered a diplomatic response, arguing that gamers are not angry about AI in general, but about certain segments in the application of that technology.

“I would say it’s a real question with which we are dissatisfied. When I say we, I mean us as gamers. I think we’re unhappy with the generative AI slop, right? Let me make it clear right away: this is something that bothers me too. Like all gamers… I don’t want to be served character models with extra fingers and stuff, or poorly written stories, and so on. I think we all agree that we don’t want a generative AI slop that comes from a couple of prompts and nothing more.” – says Lian-Tan and continues.

“From my perspective, we gamers are not against tools that help, complement or support game development and allow developers to make great games. And I think that’s the essence of what we’re all about at Razer, right? If we have AI tools that can help developers do QA faster and better and root out bugs, I think we’re all for that and we’d love that. If we can give developers the opportunity to create better, to check tipfellers and things like that, to make better quality games, I think we all want that. So do we We want to find ways to make AI work better. But there are other reasons why I don’t like AI. It’s one thing: it raises the price of memory, too.” – said Lian-Tan.

The Razer boss was also met with the inevitable question of whether he was ready for some people to develop romantic feelings for their AI chick in the tube. To that, Lian-Tan offered a rather lame answer. He says that they don’t design that product with that intention and yes I literally cannot know what kind of relationship people will develop with that product.

It is literally impossible to predict that!
