The VW Transporter Sportline brings the spirit of the GTI to the van world

Volkswagen joins the trend of sports vans by presenting the new Transporter Sportline. Positioned at the very top of the range, this model comes equipped with striking features bodykitomattractive 19-inch alloy wheels, lowered suspension and a long list of standard equipment.

Connoisseurs will know that this is not the first time that VW has offered a Sportline version of the Transporter, given that the previous generation (T6.1) carried the same designation. However, for the latest model, the recipe remains familiar, so there are still intakes on the bumper and shiny black decorative elements around the radiator grille. There is also a red line that stretches across the front, which is clearly reminiscent of the distinctive appearance of the GTI model.

Despite the visual and suspension upgrades, powertrain options remain unchanged. Customers can still choose between diesel, plug-in hybrid or all-electric lineups. The most powerful version is the e-Transporter, which delivers 282 hp (210 kW), which surpasses even the Golf 8 GTI in terms of raw power.

Volkswagen’s Transport Sportline will be sold in the UK market at a starting price of £62,752.
