Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced has finally been officially confirmed


Ubisoft shared some news related to the future of their Assassin’s Creed series and confirmed the existence of a remake of Black Flag.

Ubisoft has finally confirmed what we’ve known for months – a remake of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag from 2013 is coming. It will be called Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced. Other than that confirmation, no other details about the game have been shared.

However, if you’re interested in the details, we’ve already heard rumors about what will be removed and what will be added in Resynced.

In addition to announcing the return of Edward Kenway, Ubisoft said how Assassin’s Creed Shadows is entering the final phase of support. The game will receive a few more updates and surprises, but the focus will shift to the next Assassin’s Creed games already this year.

Among them is the already confirmed “Codename HEXE” as a darker and different AC than what we are used to. Ubisoft says that they will take their time with this game and will not share any information about the game for some time.

Furthermore, they confirmed that former For Honor developers are currently working on PvP multiplayer set in the world of Assassin’s Creed. They say that a cooperative AC experience is also under development. The already announced Assassin’s Creed Jade mobile game is still in the works.

As for the Netflix series based on the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Ubisoft says that we won’t have to wait long before we see it in action.
