Avoid these four iPhone models, iOS 27 removes support for them

Apple will hold the WWDC conference for developers next month, and one of the main topics will be iOS 27. The new version of the system is expected to bring numerous functions and design changes, but at the same time, four older iPhone models could be left without an upgrade when the final version arrives in September.

According to the latest list of supported devices published by tipster Instant Digital, among the iPhone models that can currently run iOS 26, there are four devices that will most likely not move to iOS 27. They are the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, and iPhone SE 2.

iPhone models that remain without iOS 27 support

These models have been on the market for about five to seven years, so their possible departure from the main upgrade cycle would not be a surprise. However, since they are still often found on the used phone market, customers who want a longer period of use are recommended to choose a newer iPhone model.

This is especially important for users who value software upgrades, as buying an older phone can mean a shorter support period and faster loss of new features. Even if a device still gets iOS 27, that doesn’t mean it will have access to all the new features.

Apple is introducing Apple Intelligence features more and more often, and many of them require newer and stronger hardware. That’s why users who want the most complete and fluid AI experience should look at at least the iPhone 15 Pro or later.

In other words, the iPhone 11 series and iPhone SE 2 may still be usable phones, but they are no longer the best buy for those looking for some long-term software support and access to the latest Apple AI features, reports LTN.
