They don’t want to switch to the iPhone even under the sundry point! The loyalty of Android users is reaching a record, and two brands stand out in particular

Android users are showing increasing loyalty as Apple and Android platforms record historically high levels of user retention.

According to a survey of 5,000 users in the US, the loyalty of iPhone users reached as high as 96.4%, which means that very few decide to switch to another system.

Android loyalty grows despite iPhone dominance

However, Android is closing the gap significantly and now reaches 86.4% loyalty, historically the highest level to date. This clearly shows that switching between platforms is becoming less common.

The biggest growth is recorded by individual brands within the Android ecosystem. Samsung jumped from 74% to over 90% loyalty, while Google recorded growth from 65% to almost 87%.

The reason for this trend is not only the quality of the device. Users who use one system for a long time build habits over time, but also tie their data, applications and digital identity to a certain ecosystem.

Therefore, changing the platform is no longer just a matter of choosing a device, but requires the transition of a complete digital environment.

Interestingly, when forced to switch brands, most users still choose within the same system. However, Samsung stands out as the most common choice for both iPhone and Android users.

On the other hand, Apple still manages to attract a portion of Android users, which shows that competition remains strong despite high loyalty.
