The first look at the new Hyundai i20 reveals a redesigned front end

Hyundai has released the first look at the new generation i20 model, and the biggest innovation is immediately visible on the front of the vehicle. Particular attention is drawn to the new Y-shaped LED daytime running lights, which remind many of the design signature seen on the sports model Lamborghini Revuelto.

It can also be seen that the headlights are connected by a thin strip of light that stretches across the entire front of the vehicle, which is also quite a popular trend in the automotive industry.

In addition to the new front end, the i20 is expected to get a slightly blockier look, a new roof line and more pronounced angular side windows. Despite the design changes, the dimensions should remain very similar to the current model.

Interior details are unknown at this time, but the new i20 is expected to take on Hyundai’s latest infotainment the Pleos Connect system with a large central tablet-like display. This system recently debuted in the electric model Ioniq 3, and should gradually become standard in most new Hyundai models.

At the moment, it is not known when Hyundai will officially present the new i20.
