Access data at any time and on different Galaxy devices

It’s been a few weeks since Samsung opened the beta program for One UI 8.5. The beta version is now available for supported devices in select countries, allowing users to try out the latest software.

Samsung only briefly mentioned this feature during the presentation of the One UI 8.5 beta version. As the name suggests, Storage Share allows access to the storage memory of one device from another device.

How Storage Share works in One UI 8.5

This feature is very useful for users who use and work on several different Samsung devices at the same time. For example, files from a tablet can be easily accessed via a phone or vice versa. The only condition is that both devices are logged into the same Samsung account.

Storage Share is activated on the device via the menu Nearby Share. After that, the available devices that you can connect to will be displayed, and when you go through the options, the files from the other device will be available directly through the file management application on the primary device, writes Sammobile.
