And Guardiol will drive the “Chinese”: BYD becomes the official car partner of Manchester City

The world’s leading manufacturer of new energy vehicles, BYD, has officially become the automotive partner of Manchester City Football Club. Their partnership represents a fusion of technology and sport, with the aim of promoting a more sustainable future. The cooperation is not limited to sponsorship, but includes the integration of BYD’s technologies into the club’s infrastructure, which further strengthens the Chinese company’s position on the global market.

Visibility and infrastructure

As part of the agreement, BYD Group will provide BYD and DENZA vehicles for the club’s needs, as well as implement advanced energy storage systems. For example, chargers and battery systems will be installed in the City Football Academy club camp, which will make the company’s energy solutions a key part of the center where all age categories of the club train, including the men’s and women’s first team.
