A surveillance camera from a private house in Wheeler (Indiana, USA) recorded an unusual incident last week. Just as the homeowner stepped out onto the porch, unsuspecting, a gray SUV sped down the road past her, apparently at the highest speed it could drive on a local road. At the same time, the driver briefly lost control and “grazed” a wooden pole located right next to the driveway.
A moment later the pole rotates, detaches from its base and falls to the road – as if it had been professionally sawed off – and the car continues on as if nothing had happened. Along the way, he also “picked up” a trash can from the side of the road and simply ran down the street. All that was left behind was some material damage and the stunned face of the woman on the porch, who couldn’t believe what she had just seen.
Luckily, there’s surveillance footage to remind her that she probably narrowly escaped being killed on her own doorstep.
