DC League of Super-Pets animated movie staring Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart

Watch the official trailer for “DC League of Super-Pets,” the new WB animated action-adventure comedy about Superman’s super pet, Krypto (voiced by Johnson), is forced into the opportunity when members of the Justice League are mysteriously abducted. Krypto must put together his own league of superheroes, which includes a hound, a belly pig, a turtle and a squirrel.

Dwayne Johnson lends her voice to the world’s biggest crime-fighting pet: Kryptou, the Super-Dog, called Superman’s best dog friend!

In addition to Johnson, the voices also include Kevin Hart, Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, Marc Maron, Thomas Middleditch, Ben Schwartz and Keanu Reeves.

Jared Stern, writer of “The Watch,” “The Lego Batman Movie,” and “The Lego Ninjago Movie,” co-authored and directed the upcoming animated film, based on characters from DC, Superman, created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

DC League of Super-Pets plot

Dwayne Johnson plays the voice of super-dog Krypto in the animated action-adventure feature film Warner Bros. Pictures “DC League of Super-Pets,” directed by Jared Stern.

In “DC League of Super-Pets,” Krypto Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, share the same superpowers, and fight crime in Metropolis side by side. When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must convince a pack of shelters – Ace’s dog, PB’s belly pig, Merton’s turtle and Chip’s squirrel – to master his own newly discovered powers and help save the superheroes.
