Metro 2039 has confirmed its release in 2027


We got a new rendering of Metro 2039 and confirmation that its release this winter will still mean we’ll be playing the game in early 2027.

We got a slightly more precise release date for the dark shooter Metro 2039. The original term “this winter” technically still applies, but for next year. The game will be available in the second month of 2027.

It has been confirmed that it will be an Xbox Play Anywhere title, meaning that Xbox buyers get the PC version of the game, and vice versa (if they buy it on the Microsoft Store).
