Michael Schumacher Documentary Release Date
A new Netflix documentary about the former famous German Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher will be available on the Netflix platform from September 15, 2021.
This documentary, called “Schumacher“, represents the family contribution of his wife Corinna, their two children Gina-Marie and Mick, and his brother Ralph to his professional career.
Also, Schumacher’s manager Sabine Kehm describes the film as a family gift to their beloved husband and father.
The film will show all the supporting and main personalities who helped the German Formula 1 driver during his professional career, and will also show his rivals: Jean Toth, Bernie Ecclestone, Luka Di Montezemolo, Flavio Briatore, Sebastian Vettel, Mika Hakkinen, Damon Hill, and David Coulthard.
The Netflix movie is directed by Hans-Bruno Kamertons, Venesa Noker, and Mitchell Veh. This is the same team that was in charge of making the documentary about tennis legend Boris Becker from 2017.
“The biggest challenge for filmmakers is finding a balance between objective reporting and family desires,” says Noker, one of the film’s directors, adding:
“Schumacher’s wife, Corina, was our biggest support for this project. She herself wanted to make a film about her husband, with all his flaws and virtues, ups and downs, to show Schumacher’s difficult path to fame.”
Appreciated for his leadership skills, Schumacher was and remains a top Formula 1 driver, and that, according to the film’s directors, will also be shown in his documentary.
Michael Schumacher age 52 won a record seven Formula 1 titles same as British F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, Schumacher has not been seen in public since suffering severe head injuries in a skiing accident in 2013 after Michael Schumacher stayed in a coma for a very long time.
