Ubisoft “stole” the MOBA game March of Giants from Amazon

Amazon’s MOBA game March of Giants, which was announced only three months ago, is now Ubisoft’s MOBA game of the same name.

The French company Ubisoft plans to get involved in the genre of MOBA games. And the way he will do it is quite atypical.

Namely, Ubisoft has decided to buy the game March of Giants by Amazon Games. The situation is partly comical because behind the game are former Ubisoft developers, who left Ubisoft only to be brought under its wing again by that company. Admittedly, that team says that they have come full circle and are (I guess) happy with the development of this situation. As for Amazon, they got rid of the expense and promised Ubisoft in return to provide marketing promotion of the game through Twitch.

Let’s remember, it’s the March of Giants free-to-play MOBA s divovima which was announced three months ago. Unlike LoL and DOTA, this MOBA will be 4v4 format and slightly different gameplay. The giants will be the main stars here because each of them will have their own skills. However, at the same time with them, we also lead our army, which can place certain things on the map (eg trenches, bunkers, etc.) and thus influence the situation in the match.

The game is currently in development for PC and in the phase of closed testing.
