Two versions and minimal delay
Insta360 Snap comes in two versions. In standard and more advanced with integrated LED light. The basic model costs around $80. The more expensive version, which brings additional lighting with three colors and five intensity levels, costs about $90.
Both versions connect via a USB-C port and are powered directly from the phone. According to the company, this method of connection enables significantly less lag compared to Bluetooth solutions. The package also comes with a magnetic ring that allows you to easily hang the device on the phone. The Insta360 Snap is compatible with devices that support the MagSafe or Qi2 standard, while the manufacturer states that it works with models starting from the iPhone 15 series, as well as with Android phones that have USB-C and support for DisplayPort Alt Mode.
The screen has a resolution of 480 × 800 pixels with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a maximum brightness of 550 nits. The thickness of the device is only 7.3 mm, and there is also a protective cover that protects the screen when not in use.
